Chapter 1 Detective Jack Taylor was not having a good day. His boss had just chewed him out for missing his deadline on a case he was working on, his wife had left him for his best friend, and to top it all off, he had just received a phone call from his sister saying that his mother had been diagnosed with cancer. He needed a break. So, he decided to take a walk in the park. As he walked, he noticed a group of men huddled together, speaking in hushed tones. He couldn't make out what they were saying, but he had a feeling that it was something suspicious. He decided to investigate and approached the group. As he got closer, he saw that they were planning a heist. They were going to rob the city's largest bank. Jack knew that he had to stop them. He contacted his partner, Detective Sarah Johnson, and together they started to plan their next move.
